The National Writing for Children Center accepts submissions of articles, book reviews, software reviews, as well as announcements about conferences, workshops, and other events for children’s writers.

Articles and reviews should be limited to 600 words.

Please include a short author bio and a photo of yourself (as a .jpg file) with your article.

Send the article and bio pasted within your email.

Currently, we do not pay for articles. However, if we use one of your articles or reviews at the NWFCC site, as payment you will receive one free month’s membership (Level 1) in the Children’s Writers Coaching Club - a $47.00 value.

Once we have accepted and posted three or more of your articles or reviews at the NWFCC site, you will become a contributing editor and be listed as such on our “about us” page.

Please note: Announcements are more interesting to readers if a photo or illustration is included, so please send a .jpg photo to accompany any announcements.
