I love pleasant surprises.
This afternoon I was pleasantly suprised when the UPS man delivered my author copies of a book I wrote last summer for Publications International, Ltd.
The name of the book is States: The People, Landmarks, and Highlights of the 50 States - and it comes with a 6-foot-long wall chart which gives additional information about each of the 50 states.
The book isn’t even up at www.amazon.com yet, so I’m not sure when the release date will be.
I’ll be sending a copy of the book to both of the schools I have adopted so far this year – which are Evans and Hinchchiffe Elementaries in O-Fallon, Illinois.
